TERMS & CONDITIONS (SOUTH AFRICA – CPA ALIGNED)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services rendered by Lost Angel Tattoos (Pty) Ltd (“the Studio”, “we”, “our”). By making payment, submitting a booking, or attending an appointment, the client (“you”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

LEGAL STATUS & APPLICABLE LAW
• Lost Angel Tattoos (Pty) Ltd operates in accordance with:
o The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA)
o The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
o Applicable municipal health and safety by laws
• These Terms must be read in conjunction with your rights under South African law. Where the CPA applies, its
provisions will prevail to the extent required by law.

SERVICES OFFERED & STYLE LIMITATIONS
• No piercings are performed at this studio.
• The following tattoo styles are not offered:
o Polynesian tattoos
o Tribal tattoos
o Human portrait tattoos
• Animal portraits may be declined or restricted due to extensive application time and technical limitations.
• The Studio reserves the right to decline any design at its professional discretion.

AGE RESTRICTIONS (CPA & HEALTH COMPLIANCE)
• No tattoos will be performed on persons under 18 years of age, with no exceptions.
• Valid South African ID or passport must be produced upon request.
• This requirement exists for legal compliance and health protection.

BUSINESS HOURS & COMMUNICATION
Operating Hours (Subject to Availability):
• Monday–Thursday: 10:00–18:00
• Friday: 10:00–16:00
• Saturdays & Public Holidays: 10:00–15:00
• All enquiries and quotations are handled only via WhatsApp or SMS.
• No telephonic quotations will be provided.
• Messages are responded to during business hours only.
• As the studio operates as a single artist business, response times may be slower.

QUOTATIONS (CPA COMPLIANT)
• All prices are quotations based on:
o Size (exact centimetre measurements required)
o Detail
o Colour
o Body placement
• Quotes remain valid for a limited time only and may change due to:
o Tattoo supply cost increases
o Design changes
• Descriptions such as “small”, “medium”, or “not too big” are not acceptable.

CUSTOM DESIGN WORK
• Full payment is required upfront for all custom designs or design changes.
• Design work commences only once payment has cleared.
• Estimated lead time: 2–6 weeks or longer, depending on complexity.
• Creativity is subjective; design work is not instantaneous and cannot be rushed.

BOOKINGS & CPA COMPLIANT PAYMENTS
• All appointments must be booked via the official booking system.
• No booking is valid without prior consultation.
• Full payment is required to secure any appointment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Prices are based on time allocation, not only the final result.
• If work is completed sooner than expected, the quoted price remains payable.
Multiple Clients
• Each person requires individual full payment.
• One deposit may not be shared across multiple clients.

FULL DAY & DISCOUNTED RATE CONDITIONS
• Special full day or discounted multi day rates are conditional upon attendance of all agreed days.
• Failure to attend all booked days results in:
o Loss of special rates
o Reversion to standard daily pricing
• Additional work beyond booked time is re quoted separately.

PAYMENT METHODS
Accepted payment methods:
• EFT
• Cash
• Card payments (5% card processing fee applies)
Important:
• All payments must reflect before the appointment date.
• Proof of payment must be sent to 071 085 2805, using your full name as reference.
• Cash deposits at Nedbank ATMs must include R50.00 to cover bank fees.

NO REFUNDS & CPA LIMITATIONS
• Due to the custom, hygienic, and personalised nature of tattoo services, no refunds are provided once payment
has been made.
• This is permitted under section 17(2) and 20(2)(c) of the CPA, as tattoo services are:
o Custom made
o Irreversible once commenced
• Deposits remain valid only for rescheduling, not cancellation.

RESCHEDULING & NO SHOW POLICY
• Rescheduling must be requested at least 72 hours before the appointment.
• Late cancellations or no shows result in forfeit of payment.
• Deposits may be transferred once only, subject to availability.

INCOMPLETE TATTOOS & ADDITIONAL FEES
• Incomplete tattoos requiring further appointments may incur additional costs, calculated based on remaining work.
• Outstanding balances older than 30 days will accrue R300 per month until paid.

HEALTH, SAFETY & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
• Clients must disclose:
o Medical conditions
o Skin sensitivities
o Allergies
o Pregnancy or medication
• The Studio is not liable for healing outcomes affected by:
o Client aftercare failure
o Skin type or body placement
• Fingers, hands, and feet are known high risk areas for ink loss.
o Touch ups are common and not included unless stated otherwise.

STUDIO SAFETY & CONDUCT RULES
• No children, friends, or guests are permitted at appointments.
• This is for hygiene, safety, and legal compliance.
• The Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone acting disrespectfully or unsafely.

TATTOO SPECIALS (CPA FAIR DISCLOSURE)
• Specials are:
o Time limited
o Payable in full upfront
o Valid only within advertised conditions
• Colour additions or extended work are charged separately.
• If work exceeds allocated time, additional fees will apply.

POPIA – PERSONAL INFORMATION
• Client personal information is collected solely for:
o Booking
o Communication
o Payment verification
• Information is handled securely and not shared without consent, except where legally required.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By making a booking and/or payment, you confirm that:
• You understand these Terms & Conditions
• You accept them fully
• You consent to the tattoo procedure at your own informed risk
